Different Discs

This exhibit is about the conflict between the visual situation and what I expect from it, how the weights feel, and the feeling when I actually lift the corresponding weight. Here there are two discs with different diameters: the larger one is made of wood, the smaller one is made of metal. If you compare the two weights when you touch and pick them up, the large wooden disc seems lighter, the small metal disc heavier. In fact, the wooden disc is heavier.
