Legal form and organisation

The Swiss Science Center Technorama was constituted as a non-profit foundation in 1969. Its mission is to bring about a living representation of science and technology in order to arouse interest and promote understanding among a broad audience.

Since 2013, Professor Werner Inderbitzin has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees, while Thorsten-D. Künnemann has been Director of Technorama since 2008.

Technorama currently employs 147 people, with 86 in full-time positions (as of December 2021). Organisationally, Technorama’s structure consists of a senior management team and eight departments.
